摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley for driving force transmission enabling a reduction in cycle time and an increase in assembling accuracy during the manufacturing by well performing the welding of a fixed sheave or a movable sheave to shaft members in a short time and a method of manufacturing the pulley. SOLUTION: This pulley for driving force transmission for transmitting the driving force of a vehicle comprises the fixed sheave 2, the movable sheave 3, opening parts circularly opened in the fixed sheave 2 and the movable sheave 3 at the generally center positions, respectively, and the cylindrical shaft members 8, 9 welded to the openings and forming the rotating shafts of the fixed sheave 2 and the movable sheave 3, respectively. Thick-walled parts 8a, 9a radially swelled from the outer peripheral surfaces of the shaft members 8, 9 are formed at the portions of the shaft members 8, 9 welded to the fixed sheave 2 or the movable sheave 3, respectively. While the thick-walled parts 8a, 9a are press-fitted to the openings, a current is distributed between themselves and the opening edge parts for circular electric resistance welding.
