PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial or antifungal aqueous dispersion obtained by uniformly dispersing a quaternary ammonium salt-based antibacterial or antifungal agent and an aromatic carboxylic acid salt even if they co-exist. SOLUTION: This antibacterial or antifungal aqueous dispersion is characterized by containing the quaternary ammonium salt-based antibacterial or antifungal agent, the aromatic carboxylic acid salt, an acetylene-based surfactant and water.
