The invention relates to a modular recess unit for conveying bulk material at a horizontal speed of at least 120 km/h, and to corresponding wagons having at least two recess units, comprising a stable standardized platform and a recess which is at least open at the top, a rotary joint between the platform and the recess for mutual relative horizontal rotation of the platform and the recess, and a device for emptying the recess and a drive for rotating and emptying which can be brought into engagement with the recess unit. The recess unit comprises a frame which is arranged below the recess, is connected to the rotary joint and preferably has a drive with a diesel generator, a hydraulic motor or an electric motor. |
