<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding type writing utensil having a clip which does not present an obstructed feeling or an uncomfortable feeling because a finger hits the protruding section of a sliding body which has projected from a sliding groove located on the opposite side from the clip when the clip is opened by being pinched. <P>SOLUTION: This writing utensil has a sliding type letting-out mechanism, and a clipping mechanism. In this case, the sliding type letting-out mechanism makes the writing distal end of a writing element being housed in the barrel project from the distal end opening section of the barrel by advancing the projecting section of the sliding element which projects from the sliding groove on the outer peripheral surface of the barrel. The clipping mechanism opens the distal end section of the clip by making an elastic spring member which elastically springs the clip elastically deformed when the pressing section of the clip is pressed to the barrel side. Regarding the writing utensil, on the sliding element which is located on the opposite side from the clip, a flexible section is installed which is elastically deformed on the barrel central side of the barrel. The flexible section is elastically deformed when the projecting section and the pressing section of the clip are pinched under such a state that the writing element being connected with the sliding element is sunk in the barrel, and the projecting section warps into the sliding groove of the barrel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
