<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing sprouts, by which the sprouts can simply and easily be cultured at a low cost by anyone without replacing and supplying water everyday. <P>SOLUTION: This method for culturing the sprouts comprises floating a combination prepared by covering a floating net 4 with a water-absorbing cloth 3 having a large texture on water in a culture container 1 having the water 5 therein, and culturing the sprouts on the cloth always wetted by a capillary phenomenon. Thereby, the new supply of water is not necessary, because the water is automatically supplied, even when a water level is lowered. Since seeds do directly not contact with the water, the oxygen shortage and staining of the water are not caused.
