摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-speed response, while maintaining the accuracy in distance measurement of a short-distance object. <P>SOLUTION: An operation execution determining part 52 determines whether an object exists within a prescribed range, based on the signal intensity of a dual-frequency Doppler signal provided from an A/D conversion part 23 or on a past calculated distance, or the like, informed-of from an operation result selection part 54. When the object is out of the prescribed range, a calculated distance by an FFT system operation part 51 is outputted from an operation result output part 55 via the operation result selection part 54. When the object is within the prescribed range, either of a calculated distance by a time interval system operation part 53 and the calculated distance by the FFT system operation part 51, which is selected by the operation result selection part 54, is outputted from the operation result output part 55.
