LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE, LIGHTING DEVICE, MONITORING DEVICE, AND PROJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of making the change in the temperature of a wavelength conversion element reduced by accurate temperature control, and supplying a laser beam having a stable amount of light at high efficiency.

SOLUTION: The light source device comprises: a light source part for supplying the laser beam; an SHG element 14 as a wavelength conversion element for converting the wavelength of the laser beam from the light source part; a thermistor 33 as a temperature measuring part for measuring the temperature; a heater 34 as a temperature control part for controlling the temperature of the wavelength conversion element, on the basis of the result measured by the temperature measuring part; and a thermal diffusion part 20 for diffusing the heat conducted to the wavelength conversion element. The thermal diffusion part 20 comprises a first surface 22, provided on the side of the wavelength conversion element and a second surface 23 provided on the side opposite to the first surface 22. The temperature measuring part is provided at a part at the side of the second surface 23 of the thermal diffusion part 20 and has a coefficient of thermal conductivity of the thermal diffusion part 20, between the first surface 22 side and the second surface 23 side that is provided higher than that of the other part.
