PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new organic molybdenum compound, a friction regulating agent composed of the compound and a lubricating composition containing the agent. SOLUTION: An organic molybdenum compound expressed by general formula (1) (A1and A2are each a group selected independently from a heterocyclic group which may have a substituent and a dialkylamino group) can be used in a lubricating oil as a friction regulating agent.
