发明名称 METHOD FOR MEASURING VIABLE CELL COUNT OF ICE CREAM CONTAINING LACTOBACILLUS
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a viable cell count other than that of lactobacillus, presenting as mixed in an ice cream containing lactobacillus, simply and quickly. SOLUTION: A sample for measurement is prepared by diluting the ice cream containing the lactobacillus by 500 to 10,000 folds. The sample for measurement is cultured by a standard agar medium added with bromcresol purple. The bromcresol purple is added by 0.01 to 0.04 g per 1,000 mL standard agar medium. A mix dilution method is used for the culturing. Since the growth of the lactobacillus is inhibited by the restricted nutrition, etc., caused by the dilution, practically, it is possible to measure the viable cell count simply and quickly by a sufficient detection accuracy.
