PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain immunoglobulins using transgenic non-human animals producing heterologous antibodies. SOLUTION: A method of producing human array immunoglobulin polypeptides includes the steps of (A) obtaining a transgenic mouse, (B) immunizing the transgenic mouse with a predetermined antigen, (C) isolating a nucleic acid which encodes at least one part of a variable region of a rearranged transgene to sequence it and determining an amino acid sequence of the immunoglobulin polypeptide to be encoded by the sequenced part of the rearranged transgene, (D) producing an artificial gene which encodes a second immunogloblin polypeptide, (E) combining the artificial gene with a transcriptional promoter array and (F) introducing the artificial gene into a cell.
