PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar heating element using a thermoplastic synthetic resin with its bendability improved, and having flexibility capable of heating in accordance with a surface of an object having a curved face. SOLUTION: For the blind form heating element, a planar heater 2 is used, having PTC characteristics with an electrode wire 4 each arranged on both edges of a sheet-like heat generating part made by molding a mixture with a predetermined volume of conductive fine powder added to thermoplastic synthetic resin, a number of slits 2a are set bored in a width direction of the heat generating part to form a number of string-like heating elements 2b, which are aligned to structure an alignment body of the string-like heating elements 2b.
