PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problem of conventional methods of curing a sealant wherein the sealant is brought into a nonuniform cured state since the curing of the sealant becomes insufficient and an oil may leaks from the sealed portion sealed by the sealant in the chain chamber of an engine. SOLUTION: In this method of curing a sealant containing a silicone resin as a component, cured by absorbing the moisture in the atmosphere, and sealing between members, an AC voltage generated by an AC voltage generator 31 is applied to a liquid gasket 22 serving as the sealant.
