PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for dropping a block, which can accurately drop a fishing bank block having a through hole and/or a cavity or the like according to a target position on the seabed. SOLUTION: The through hole and/or cavity of the block is filled with a filler, and then the block is dropped into water. Complicated turbulence caused by the through hole and/or the cavity when the block descends in the water and oscillation are suppressed to realize a stable descent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
