PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete structure construction method in which a concrete tank can be constructed and maintained in easy work as compared with work of an existing technique. SOLUTION: The concrete structure has a cylindrical, an almost cylindrical, or an oblong shape composed at least of a bottom slab and a side wall erected on the bottom slab. According to the concrete structure construction method, after completion of construction of the side wall by pouring concrete and before starting of storage of contents in the structure, continuous fiber-reinforced materials such as carbon fiber reinforced plastic plates are arranged along a direction of an external surface periphery of the side wall, and therefore the structure exerts a predetermined strength that stabilizes the structure with respect to side pressure caused by the contents.
