PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder and grain supply device capable of continuously and quantitatively supplying even a small quantity of powder and grain, and having a wide range in adjustment of supply quantity and facilitated in adjustment. SOLUTION: This powder and grain supply device is formed by fitting a cylindrical rotor 3 formed with a plurality of powder and grain conveying grooves 17 in the peripheral surface thereof in a cylindrical casing 2 having a powder and grain flow-in opening in an upper part thereof and having a powder and grain discharge slit 15 in a lower part thereof, and discharges the polishing material from the powder and grain discharge slit 15 by driving the rotor 3 for rotation with a motor 4. Each of the powder and grain conveying grooves 17 is inclined at a predetermined helix angleθ2 against a rotary shaft P of the rotor 3, and on the other hand, a front edge 15a of the rectangular powder and grain discharge slit 15 is extended in parallel with the rotary shaft P of the rotor 3, and the total opening length L1 of the powder and grain conveying grooves 17 in the front edge 15a is formed equal over the whole circumference of the rotor 3.
