PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tower crane easy to carry into a construction field, easy to assemble, disassemble and handle in order to solve a problem wherein a current tower crane used for construction of a structure is complicate in assembling and disassembling and cost is raised as a result and a problem wherein a large crane is necessary in the case of assembling a tower crane and in a case wherein a structure to be constructed becomes higher in progress of construction. SOLUTION: As a method of joining tower parts as a main structure of a tower crane, a spirally volute extending/shrinking method is used so as to simplify structure and installation. A tower support 5 as the main structure of the tower crane is elevated/lowered by spirally arranging roller bearings 10 inside the tower and rotating the tower, in place of a flange coupling method.
