PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material supply device capable of processing without lowering a processing speed of the device while reducing jam of a thin sheet material even in case thin and thick sheet materials are mixed on a hopper. SOLUTION: The sheet material supply device detects thickness of the sheet material delivered one by one and, in case the thickness of the sheet material detected by a thickness detection means is thinner than a predetermined thickness, changes a rotation speed of a conveying roller group to a delivery speed appropriate for the sheet material to be conveyed.
