A display device (1B) is provided with a metal conductive layer (21) formed on a substrate (3); a transparent conductive film (39), which is formed on the same substrate and is bonded to the metal conductive layer; and an interlayer insulating film (25) for insulating the metal conductive layer (21) and the transparent conductive film (39) one from the other. The metal conductive layer (21) is provided with a lower aluminum layer (40a) composed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy; an intermediate impurity containing layer (41a), which is composed of aluminum containing an impurity and formed substantially entirely over an upper surface of the lower aluminum layer (40a); and an upper aluminum layer (42a), which is composed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and is formed on the intermediate impurity containing layer (41a). A contact hole (27) penetrates the interlayer insulating film (25) and the upper aluminum layer (42a) to have the intermediate impurity containing layer (41a) locally exposed. The transparent electrode film (39) is bonded to the metal conductive layer (21) on the intermediate impurity containing layer (41a) exposed from the contact hole (27).
