A damper device for an air conditioner, the device having an air supply path from which outdoor air is taken in. The air supply path has an open/close plate rotated about a shaft to be opened and closed; a damper device body having a bearing section that supports the shaft and forming a part of the air supply path; a motor provided outside the air supply path, having a rotation shaft connected to the shaft by a connection section, and driving the open/close plate; and a first shielding section provided close to and surrounding the shaft between the bearing section and the motor, the connection section, and the rotation shaft.
