BIOREACTOR VESSEL LINER

A liner (10) is provided for adjusting the capacity of a rigid bioreactor vessel (104). The liner (10) includes an inner wall (108) defining a liner cavity and an outer wall (106) that at least partially surrounds the inner wall (108). The inner wall (108) has a contact surface that provides lateral support for a bioreactor bag (102) placed in the liner cavity. The inner wall (108) and outer wall (106) are disposed relative to each other to define a liner thickness. The outer wall (106) corresponds with the size of the vessel cavity so that the liner fits into the vessel (104). The liner cavity is capable of operably holding and supporting a bioreactor bag (102) of a smaller capacity than is the vessel.
