<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodetector for converting a light into an electric signal and an optical disk device. <P>SOLUTION: This photodetector is provided with a photoelectric conversion unit for converting an incident light into an electric current, and a current/voltage conversion unit 200 including a feedback circuit for feeding back at least a part of an output to an input side and converting the electric current entered from the photoelectic conversion unit into a voltage according to the resistance value of the feedback circuit to output it.
