PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selection method or the like, capable of performing further rapid physical distribution management by reducing communication traffic between vendors.

SOLUTION: A downstream server 2 stores commodity information of a wireless tag 3 output from a reader/writer 29 in a database. A processing part executes various kinds of processing using the commodity information stored in the database. When the commodity information necessary for the processing part to execute the various kinds of processing is not stored in the database, a transmitting request of commodity information is output to an upstream server 1. The upstream server 1 transmits commodity information stored in a storage part to the downstream server 2. The upstream server 1 stores the history of received transmitting requests of commodity information in a history database. The upstream server 1 determines priority orders for commodity information based on the history stored in the history database. The upstream server 1 outputs a predetermined number of pieces of commodity information with the determined priority orders in descending order to the reader/writer 19 as information to be written to the wireless tag 3.
