<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular head light which creates a plurality of types of light distributions with fewer LEDS. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular head light 1 includes at least two types of reflectors 2 having light axes L1 and L2 extending in the front-to-rear direction of a vehicle, and an actuator 4 which moves an LED 3 to the position of respective approximate focuses F1 and F2 of the reflectors 2. Because the actuator 4 moves the LED 3 to respective approximate focuses F1 and F2 of the reflectors 2, the vehicular head light 1 is capable of switching light distribution in correspondence to the type of each reflector 2 with fewer LEDs, thus actually reducing the number of LEDs. As a result, light quantity loss due to heat generation from the LED hardly occurs. In addition, a heat dissipation effect by a heat sink 14 further makes it hard for light quantity loss due to heat generation from the LED 3 to occur. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
