PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric air blower, along with an electric cleaner, that has less air loss and has high suction performance. SOLUTION: The electric air blower comprises an impeller 16 that is connected to a spindle 6 of a motor and accelerates the air taken in from a central inlet 16a to push it out to an outlet 16b on the outer peripheral surface; an air guide comprising a plurality of stator blades 26, arranged to enclose its outer periphery; and a fan case 18 which comprises an air-intake opening at the center and covers the impeller 16 and the air guide. A ring-like resin member 25, having an air-intake opening 24 at the center, is molded integrally with the fan case 18 above the impeller 16, while contacting the inner surface thereof; and the number of ring-like ribs 27 protruding to the impeller side are provided so as to include the inlet 16a of the impeller, on the surface counter to the impeller 16 of the resin member 25.
