PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of accurately and simply carrying out drop-out for removing a predetermined color component from pixel data of a specific color in a color original image. SOLUTION: The image processing device comprises: an outline color pallet display means 206 which divides a recognizable color space into a plurality of color space areas and displays a representative color of each of the color space areas; an area selecting means 203 for selecting an arbitrary area of a color pallet; an area range designating means 208 for enlarging or reducing the selection area selected by the area selecting means 203; and a selection area determining means 209 for determining the area enlarged or reduced by the area range designating means as a selection area, wherein a pixel data converting means 204 replaces pixel data of a color contained in the area selectively determined by the selection area determining means 209 with predetermined pixel data for image data.
