摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system capable of preventing useless retransmission and enhancing system throughput. SOLUTION: At a base station 2, an E-DPDCH (Enhanced-DEdicated Channel) is decoded by information about E-DPCCH to perform a CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) determination. The base station 2 transmits E-HICH which is a downlink signal by mapping ACK to the E-HICH when CRC is normal and mapping NACK when the CRC is improper. At the base station 2, Iteration frequencies in Turbo decoding are calculated. The base station 2 which determines that the received E-DPDCH is ACK notifies an RNC 1 of the number of retransmission, CRC results and the number of Iteration. The RNC 1 determines the quality of a propagation environment from the number of retransmission, the CRC results and the number of Iteration from the base station 2. In the RNC 1, when the number of retransmission is larger than a threshold to the number of retransmission, it is determined that the propagation environment is poor and when the number of retransmission is smaller than the threshold, it is determined that the propagation environment is successful.
