PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which can reduce an installation space by preventing enlargement of the recorder. SOLUTION: The recorder recording by ejecting liquid droplets is equipped with a recording head which has ejection openings to eject the liquid droplets, a moving means which moves the recording head up and down, and a liquid droplet receiving part placed at a position opposed to the ejection openings of the recording head. The liquid droplet receiving part is supported to be rotatable. The recorder is configured so that the side face to form an under face when the liquid droplet receiving part is rotated inclines to the installation surface of the recorder.
