<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection pipe with an engraved mark such as braille, which is safely and easily mountable on an existing handrail pipe at a location which is partly cut out. <P>SOLUTION: According to the structure of the connection pipe 1 with the engraved mark such as the braille, a pair of slide pipes 2 each having an extrusion spring 3 are present in the pipe, and a transmission nut 5 to which the extrusion springs 3 are coupled is rotatably attached to a driving spring 4 rotatably held by a support plate 7. Then the connection pipe 1 is fitted to the existing handrail pipe at a location which is partly cut out according to the length of the connection pipe 1. When the driving spring 4 is rotated by a hexagonal wrench, the transmission nut 5 is moved to extrude the extrusion spring 3 which then extends to slide the slide pipe 2 in a pipe axial direction until being press-fitted into the cut-out portion of the handrail pipe.
