PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of appropriately correcting a character region of a scan image.

SOLUTION: Binarizing processing is performed to a region where characters are present in the scan image (S305) and image data D1 are obtained. Character recognition processing (OCR) is performed to the region (S307) and image data D2 of the characters are obtained. The shakiness correction of the image data D1 is performed by the image data D2 and image data D3 are obtained.
