<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner from being deposited on a screw for conveying waste toner. <P>SOLUTION: The cleaning device includes: a cleaning member for removing toner on an image carrier; a recovery container for recovering removed toner; the screw for conveying the removed toner to the recovery container; and a spherical movable member moved in the rotation axis direction of the screw by the rotation of the screw.
