PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of reliability such as wear or the like caused by a rise in the bearing pressure of a slide surface between a piston pin and a connection rod. SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with the piston pin 152 penetrating a hollow part 137 and fixed to a piston 134, and the connection rod 154 having a small end hole 162 for fitting the piston pin 152 therein, and a large end hole fitted to an eccentric shaft formed at a small end 158 and a large end, respectively. In the compressor, when it is assumed that a projection area in the compression direction of the piston 134 and a projection area in the compression direction of the slide part between the piston pin 152 and the small end hole 162 are A and B, respectively, B/A is set larger than 0.3, whereby the bearing pressure of the slide part between the piston pin 152 and the small end hole 162 of the connection rod 154 can be set below a wear generation limit value.
