PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adding peripheral equipment to a computer (or a virtual computer) in a remote place by assigning the peripheral equipment "bus"-connected to a local personal computer, to the computer (or the virtual computer) installed in the remote place. SOLUTION: "False descriptor information" is prepared for the peripheral equipment so as not to be handled as a system resource in the directly connected computer, and "connection software" is used to add the peripheral equipment to a "virtual bus" in the computer (or the virtual computer) in the remote place.
