PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the position of housed dishes and to optimize a washing operation corresponding to a dish housing state. SOLUTION: The dishwasher is provided with a rail part 24 for supporting a washing tub 12 so as to be pulled out, a weight detection means 30 for detecting the weight of objects to be washed housed in a dish basket 13, and a control means 22 for controlling the processes of washing and rinsing, etc. The weight detection means 30 detects the weight of the objects to be washed applied to the rail part 24.
