The invention relates to a method for obtaining biometrical coefficients on a predetermined portion of an individual, that comprises the following steps: obtaining an image representing thermal variations of the predetermined portion; analysing the texture of a portion at least of said image; determining at least one biometrical coefficient. The method can be used in authentication or biometrical identification systems.
