<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an algorithm for a judgement of a polarization curve of a fuel cell stack. <P>SOLUTION: When the fuel cell stack is in operation and a predetermined data adequacy standard is satisfied, the algorithm enters into a data collection mode and stack data such as a current density, an average cell voltage and a minimum cell voltage are collected. When the stack is shut down, the algorithm solves an exercise of at least a square by using a cell voltage model and estimates a predetermined parameter to define a polarization curve. If the estimated parameter satisfies the predetermined completion standard, the estimated parameter is stored and is used by a system controlling device for calculating the stack polarization curve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
