<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a deposit quantity of a particulate in a filter in a low flow rate area. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine estimates the deposit quantity of PM based on differential pressure before and after a DPF, and arithmetically operates a contraction flow factor-corresponding term correction factor Cr equivalent to a blocking-up degree of the filter by viscosity of exhaust gas based on an exhaust flow rate Qe (S24), and corrects the differential pressure before and after the DPF by correcting a contraction flow factor-corresponding term (B ×ζ) based on the blocking-up degree (S26). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
