<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use spirits preserving a solid material containing calcium carbonate as the main ingredient, e.g. pearl and shell as solid without being dissolved even when the solid material is inserted therein in a method for producing liqueur using spirits as a base. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the liqueur using the spirits as the base includes a step for adding alkaline water to regulate the alcohol content of the spirits so as to be 7-15%, and to make the spirits alkaline, a step for adding a natural pigment to the spirits with the added alkaline water, and a step for adding the solid material containing the calcium carbonate as the main ingredient to the spirits with the added natural pigment.
