PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a radio wave of transmission and reception of a wireless LAN network without requiring a control signal line for synchronizing a LAN transmitting and receiving device to transmission and reception, and increasing transmission losses. SOLUTION: The access point is provided with: a low noise amplifier 23 for amplifying the radio wave received by a receiving antenna 25; a power amplifier 22 for supplying a transmission signal to a transmitting antenna 24; as a single pole double throw switch 26 for selectively connecting the wireless LAN transmitter and receiver to an output terminal of the low noise amplifier 23 and an input terminal of the power amplifier 22; and a transmission reception switch device for normally connecting the single pole double throw switch 26 to the low noise amplifier 23 side and switching it to the power amplifier 22 side when the transmission signal from the wireless LAN transmitter and receiver is detected.
