PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear sprocket assembly for a bicycle capable of allowing a chain to be hardly detached from a rear hub without increasing the assembly cost of the rear hub. SOLUTION: A sprocket assembly 44r which is a rear sprocket assembly for a bicycle and fitted to a rear hub 12 of the bicycle comprises a chain fitting member 63, a sprocket 62a, a sprocket 62b, and a chain detachment preventive part 65. A sprocket fitting member has a connection part 63a to be connected to the rear hub, a fitting surface 66b directed outward of the hub axial direction, and a fitting surface 66a directed inward of the hub axial direction, and also has a supporting part extending from the connection part. The sprocket 62a is fitted to the fitting surface 66a. The sprocket 62b is fitted to the fitting surface 66b, and has less teeth than the sprocket 62a.
