PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile roof structure and a roof bow restraining deformation of the roof panel side caused by a difference of a deformation mode of thermal expansion of a roof panel and the roof bow in making the roof bow of aluminum alloy. SOLUTION: Deformation of the side of the roof panel 1 caused by the difference of the deformation mode of thermal expansion of the roof panel 1 and the roof bow 10 is restrained by connecting a roof bow connecting surface 16 and a back surface of the roof panel 1 to each other by a mastic adhesive 5 while securing a clearance C1 between the roof bow connecting surface 16 and the back surface of the roof panel 1 by a step 20 by providing the step 20 along the longitudinal direction of the roof bow on the connecting surface of the roof bow 10 made of aluminum alloy with the back surface of the roof panel 1 out of the automobile roof structure.
