PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus reducing the quantity of blur in a radiation image. SOLUTION: The radiation imaging apparatus comprises a radiation generating part for irradiating a subject with radiation; a motion detecting part for detecting the periodic motion of the subject; a radiation image capturing part for capturing a plurality of radiation images of the subject at the timing when the phase of the motion detected by the motion detecting part is approximately the same with the radiation irradiated from the radiation generating part and penetrating the subject; and a composite image creating part for creating a composite image by superimposing the plurality of radiation images successively captured by the radiation image capturing part.
