BULKY YARN FOR REINFORCING USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-strength bulky yarn for reinforcing use, which is highly adhesive to rubber or resin without losing excellent properties such as high mechanical strength and heat resistance inherent in the high-strength fibers comprised thereof. SOLUTION: The bulky yarn for reinforcing use is obtained by laying together bulky-textured yarn such as air-interlaced yarn of multifilament fiber and reinforcing yarn consisting of filament yarn or twisted yarn of high-strength thermoplastic fiber such as polyketone fiber or high-strength non-thermoplastic fiber such as p-aramid fiber. The bulky yarn thus obtained is free from mechanical strength decline compared to bulky yarn obtained by entangling the two kinds of yarn each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
