EVALUATION METHOD OF COKE EXTRUSION LOAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of an extrusion load that quantitatively clarifies how the difference of shapes or of existing positions of concaves and convexes of a furnace wall exerts influences on the extrusion load thereby to permit more clear assumption of the extrusion load. SOLUTION: A false coke cake as a model is prepared by combining false coke lumps composed of many unit particles. Influences of the unevenness of the furnace wall on the extrusion load at the time of extrusion of the false coke cake from a carbonization chamber are estimated according to simulations by a particle element method using the shapes of arbitrary convexes and concaves of the furnace wall as a boundary condition.
