Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an encapsulated reading apparatus that includes a main body portion; a rotatable end removeably attached to a first end of the main body portion; and a fixed end attached to a second end of the main body portion. The encapsulated reading apparatus may also include a page mechanism including a plurality of turn-able pages disposed in and coaxially aligned with the main body portion, the page mechanism being connected to and between the rotatable end and the fixed end, and the plurality of turn-able pages being visible through a portion of the main body portion. The rotatable end may be operated to turn the page mechanism in a forward direction and a backward direction to display each of the plurality of turn-able pages.
