摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting signal transmission system eliminating the necessity of provision of a coaxial cable and using millimeter waves capable of transmitting a broadband broadcasting signal. <P>SOLUTION: A BS/CS antenna 10 receives and converts radio waves from the JSAT3 satellite 1, the JSAT4 satellite 2, the BS satellite 3, and the 110&deg; CS satellite 4 into an IF signal using a converter, and outputs the result to a millimeter wave transmitter 20. The millimeter wave transmitter 20 divides the IF signal corresponding to each satellite into a plurality of bands, converts the bands into millimeter wave bands, adds a local signal to each millimeter band, and transmits the result with a changed plane of polarization. A millimeter wave receiver 30 provided on each subscriber side of the system receives a signal from the millimeter transmitter 20, converts the millimeter waves into the original IF signal using the local signal in the received signal, and outputs the result to a CS tuner 33. The CS tuner 33 selects a television signal of a desired channel from the IF signal output from the millimeter receiver 30, and outputs the television signal to a television receiver 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
