PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas collector that is developed related to the technical field, that is usable even in a dark place. SOLUTION: An emission element 13 is provided to a gas collector 10; and when measurement is performed in a dark place, discolored part of a detection pipe is irradiated with the light from the emission element 13 and graduation is read. If the emission element 13 is made to light during the collection of a sample gas, a projection 21 is recognized at a bright place; and turning of the light of the emission element 13 is recognized in a dark place by confirming that the suction of the sample gas is finished.
