PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a system and a computer program for initializing a programmable logic device (PLD), using a direct memory access (DMA). SOLUTION: This method includes a step for operating a control line of the PLD to constitute the PLD to a programming mode, a step for receiving a PLD programming data from DMA control at a DMA speed, a step for writing the PLD programming data into a data buffer, a step for reading out the PLD programming data from the data buffer, and a step for transmitting the PLD programming data to a programming port on the PLD at a PLD programming speed.
