PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper diaper effectively preventing leakage at least from the rear end of the product. SOLUTION: First erected gathers 60 comprising a first erected sheet 61 and a first elastic member 62 fixed at the distal end of the sheet in the extended state along the cross direction of the product are disposed on the end on the back side of a top sheet 1 in such a state that the proximal end is fixed. Second erected gathers 70 comprising a second erected sheet 71 and a second elastic member 72 fixed to the distal end of the sheet in the extended state along the cross direction of the product are disposed with the proximal end fixed on the inner side in the front/rear direction of the product from the proximal end of the first erected sheet 61. The erected sheets 61 and 71 are turned back downward at their fixed ends, and have surface pieces 91 and 92 extending outward in the front/rear direction of the product respectively. In the use state, the erected gathers 60 and 70 are erected from the top sheet 1 with the contractive force of the elastic members 62 and 70. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
