The key pad has three parts (2-4) represented in three different positions related to a touch screen (6). One of the parts is visible as images in the touch screen and the remaining parts are not virtual and not visible. Movement (6) of a hand (7) operating a key is registered by an ultrasonic device and is analyzed by a control electronics. The ultrasound device has an ultrasound transmitter (9) and an ultrasound receiver (10). Selection of a part of the keypad represented on the touch screen takes place through movement of the hand.
