The armature (1) has a reservoir (17) staying in fluid connection with a compression area (101) over a fluid line (136). A fluid connection (111) connects the compression area with a pressure chamber of a piston-cylinder-unit (18). A piston (144) is pre-loaded by a spring (152) into a position, in which a compression area (141) is minimized. The compression area (141) stays in fluid connection with a hollow chamber system that receives a brake fluid over a fluid line (148). An independent claim is also included for a manually operated hydraulic brake system comprising a wheel turning friction body.
